2. The eBookly app collects no data
eBookly does not require an account, use advertising or third-party tracking SDKs, connect to eBookly app servers, or send us books, reading history, bookmarks, searches, folders, or device identifiers. We therefore cannot view, sell, or share this app data.
3. Where books and app data are stored
Imported EPUB and PDF files, covers, folders, bookmarks, and reading progress are stored in the app’s space on this iPad. You can delete books in the app or remove the app to delete its local data.
If you enable iCloud Backup or device backup, iPadOS may back up app data according to your Apple settings. Apple controls that backup; consult Apple’s privacy information and backup settings.
4. System features you choose to use
When you import through Files, drag and drop, the share sheet, or a file picker, iPadOS and the file provider you select process the file at your direction. When exporting, a book is sent only to the destination you choose in the system share sheet. eBookly does not upload content in the background.
5. Website data
Our web host or content-delivery provider may automatically process ordinary server logs—such as IP address, request time, browser type, and requested page—to deliver the site, maintain security, and troubleshoot failures. These website logs are not collected by the eBookly app and are not connected to your app library. These pages use no advertising trackers.
6. Children
eBookly does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. The app is not in Apple’s Kids category. Users should import only content they have the right to read.
7. Security and retention
Because app data is stored on the device, protect the iPad with a passcode and Apple’s system security features. Local app data remains until you delete books or remove the app. Retention of Apple backups depends on your Apple account settings.

If eBookly’s data practices change, we will update the version and date on this page and provide additional notice in the app or store listing when appropriate.
